Year 2 have been building up a number of key physical skills in P.E. this term.
We have been strengthening our core muscles to help us balance on one leg, our knees, our bottom or other parts of the body for a longer (and longer) length of time.
We have been moving through the steps of running from heel - toe, heel – toe, to knee (raised) - heel – toe, to knee (raised) - stretch (leg out) - heel – toe, to running relays with each other.
We found out that looking forward with our eyes and focussing on where we wanted to run too helps to be speedier and less likely to fall over!
