We have been extra busy this week - it's amazing how much we can learn in just one week. We are learning about animals and their habitats this term. On Monday we flew off to Africa to find the animals on the savannah. The children had lots of fun building an airplane and making passports outdoors. The children sorted animals by what they eat (either animals or plants). We learned to say omnivore, carnivore and herbivore. In maths we have been telling the time and racing to a stopwatch - Reception learned that saying one elephant takes about one second. We have also been practising for our assembly next week - we can't tell you about that, it is a secret!
