As part if our Toys topic, we had a special lesson to develop our scissor skills and make a paper toy. We talked about scissor safety and and found out that there are different types of scissors for different uses. We then followed instructions to cut in straight lines and curves. The Year Ones then also tried folding the paper and cutting out concertina animals as toys. It was quite messy but we all tried very hard to concentrate and follow instructions.
