It has taken us weeks to paint our sensational self-portraits to make sure that the outline was drawn to a good size, the flesh tones mixed expertly and hair blended beautifully over a number of weeks to make sure the paint colours didn’t run into each other and ruin the effect being created. Colouring pencils were then used to blend eye colours and put in fine detail.
I think you’ll agree the children have all done an amazing job working with different sized brushes to mix shades and paint their portraits.
