This week has been jungle and rainforest fun. We have learned a great boogie song about the jungle. The children have sorted animals by their characteristics (two legs, four legs, fur, feather etc.) and discussed how different animals move. We have been writing about walking in the jungle and describing which animals we can see. We have listened to poetry from Rumble in the Jungle and made up our own verses about our favourite wild animals. We have also been earning merits by completing Jungle Challenges. Come and see our animal masks, you may hear some roaring too. As the weather has improved we have been playing in our outdoor playground. Unfortunately a band of wild pirates have landed in our backyard - they have built their own ship and even have cannons!
